Is there a way of enabling dark mode though a userscript?

Not every website offers a dark mode. Easiest is enabling battery saver which automatically enables Dark theme and if a website checks required media setting it will give you Dark theme.

Yeah, I always run dark mode and sites that support it work. I'm looking for something that can modify sites that don't have one with a script.

Sites can look uglier if you apply a generic script.

With #$#selector { style properties } rules you can modify the layout as much as you like.

I'll try to play around with it and see how it looks. I just need to set the background to black and don't to write. Dark mode in the browser usually works great with a few minor exceptions.
