iTunes losing app install functionality

Apple is removing the ability to install apps from iTunes. Meaning no more holding on to an old .ipa and installing it. Cloud sync only and latest compatible version only.

There are still workarounds (for now), but keeping the old version of Adguard (or any app not in store) pre-ad block crackdown is getting harder.

Change isn't rolled out to Windows yet, but the writing is on the wall.

You can use the iTunes 12.6.3 version -> http://osxdaily.com/2017/10/09/get-itunes-12-6-3-with-app-store/
