Mac (Ventura 13.2.1) Configuration Profile not working.

https://adguard-dns.io/en/public-dns.html
Mac Configuration Profile downloaded from this URL is not working in:
MacBook Air (M1)
Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68)

The same profile installed in iOS (iPhone and iPad) is working perfectly.
DNS Setting detail shows in iOS, but not in Mac.
Manually adding IPs in WiFi DNS setting will make it works but without DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH).

Thank you.

Hi,

Manually adding IPs' = plain DNS, therefore no security protocol (DoH, DoQ, and etc) applies.

Just to be sure, did you download theconfig.file from https://adguard-dns.io/en/public-dns.html directly from MacOS section?
What do you there at adguard.com/test.html while AdGuard DNS is active?

I'm getting the same issue. Unless I manually set the DNS in the Wifi settings with the profile installed I don't see AdGuard DNS as active using the test page. Is it an issue with MacOS?

I got a response from AdGuard support regarding my issue.

The problem is that Symantec antivirus is using a profile similar to AdGuard, which is causing it to block the activation of the other profile. If I want to enable the AdGuard profile, I have to disable the Symantec profile. However, since antivirus protection is crucial, I have no option but to continue using AdGuard in Plain IP mode via WiFi settings, which doesn't support DoH.

You can refer to the screenshot for the location of the setting:
Mac Ventura: Setting > Network > VPN & Filters > Filter & Proxies.

Thank you, this was my problem I had some other filters in that screen and the AdGuard DNS filter was disabled.
I enabled it and it's working now.
