Mobicip BSOD with AdGuard

I recently installed Adguard and was just about to purchase it when my son's session started having the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). I'm using Windows 10 64 bit and everything has been just fine. When I use my session I have no issues at all and Adguard does a great job locking what I don't want. When I found out about my son's session, I decided to check and see what would happen when I logged into my wife's. She didn't have any issues but there was a notification that popped up saying Mobicip was conflicting with Adguard. So I think that since my son has the parental protection activated using the Mobicip, its causing the BSOD.

I would like this fixed by Adguard so I can keep both products, but at the moment I can't use it because of this issue. Please help.

for more info on Mobicip you can go to this link: http://www.mobicip.com/

Greetings!

Please try disabling the WFP network driver in Adguard and see if that helps.

Thanks for the response. I tried doing that and what I don't like is that all the sudden the pop ups in Edge start populating. So if I disable that function adguard is not really useful anymore.

Yeah, disabling the WFP driver means no filtering in Edge and Modern apps in general.

It sounds to me there's an incompatibility between Adguard and Mobicip somewhere. It's not the first incompatibility and usually with these cases it's because of the WFP driver.

@avatar will need to visit this thread to give more information here.

When do you feel this will be corrected? I'm wondering if its something to do with the VPN filter and can Mobicip be added as an OK area (whitelist)?

We couldn't reproduce the problem during our tests. @jrbusuttil can you give more info on your Mobicip settings? Maybe we had something important different from your setup.

Not sure what else to report. On our home PC we have my account, my wife and my son. My son has Mobicip setup for parental control issues. When logging into his site the PC shows blue screen and reboots. I think the only way you can test this is if you setup a Mobisip fake account and test it that way.

Already did it, but everything worked fine. But there were some problems with adguard, mobicip and dr.Web. Do you have any antivirus? If you do, we'll test it one more time and try to find out what's going on.

I only use the antivirus that is built into Windows 10. Now I also use the Microsoft Family setup and restrict websites and usage time for my son, but other than that I don't have anything special on my system.
