Move the icon ?

Hi,
I love my AdGuard and am proud to support the Dev's who are keeping
this add-on relevant and one of the best on the market.
I have one question though. I already have an icon on the lower right of my screen in FF
is there a way to move the AdGuard circular icon at the lower right side of the screen to
the lower left side so that I don't experience icon overlap ?
Thanks for any assistance or feedback.

Click on the Assistant to open it, click the green Change settings button, then change the location to however you want it setup. In your case you want to change the Horizontal orientation from right to left. :)

Excellent! You can even make the Assistant icon smaller so it's less intrusive. I have mine set to small and on the bottom left side as well. It works rather well! :D

Greetings,

I wish for the day when we are able to drag it around to other than pre-defined positions, maybe adding it to tool bars of browsers, up next to the max-min, X closing buttons (tabs) of browsers UI.

Still then of the installed Adguard for Windows with the UI itself, being able to resize it as well from an edge drag to size it, when it's opened on our screens. I don't see why this has taken so long as many other software's offer this kind feature...

Thanks,
Gass :D

Btw, in the new Assistant version the icon is draggable. If you drag it, it will save it's position for that particular website.

That's working in the right direction - now why not then make it being a global set for every screen - instead of a per particular website page?
Is this new Assistant in Adguard Version 6.1.298.1564 or is it just an extension update scheduled for later? In v 6.1.298.1564 I can't drag it right here now.

Different websites have various elements at different positions on the page. One one page you might want Assistant in one position, on another website there is some widget or something and you want Assistant icon somewhere else.

It will come along with the app update. Supposedly in v6.2.
Hi avatar,

Will we see something in like a projected Adguard for Windows roadmap for 2017?
This would be nice to see what Adguard's Team is thinking about and in current trends their wishing to address...
Thanks,
Gass

@Gass standing in for avatar: I am almost sure there will be something. Probably when tasks from previous roadmap are completed.
That's good to hear, I know Adguard's Team has been hard at work to complete the last list, and it's one of the most actively updated programs I use. Hip Hip Hurrah goes out to all !
Thanks, Gass :D
