Make sure you're using the latest AdGuard Adblocker 2.7.2 extension for Firefox.

I just tried this with the standalone 2.7.2 Firefox browser extension with AG for Windows 6.2 and integration mode is working fine in Firefox 57 stable, Firefox 58 beta and Nightly 59.

    No luck involved.

    1. Go here: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardBrowserExtension/releases/tag/v2.7.2

    2. Scroll down to the downloads and find firefox-standalone-beta-2.7.2.xpi (it says beta, but it's a final version - the standalone version is "enhanced" with slightly better blocking abilities due to the restrictions of AMO).

    3. Right click on it and save the .xpi file somewhere you can find it (e.g. the desktop).

    4. Go to Firefox's add-ons (about:addons) go to the Extensions section, click the settings cog and select Install Add-on From File... and find the .xpi you downloaded and install it.

    Profit?

Just tried this with a clean Firefox 57 profile several times and it works 100% of the time for me. Maybe that's the key, a clean profile?

Honestly with Firefox 57 I highly recommend making a backup of your bookmarks (along with anything else you might need) and doing a clean Firefox profile. This Quantium release is indeed a paradigm shift for Firefox. It'll alienate some of their userbase with the death of XPCOM/XUL extensions and the new Photon UI (R.I.P. Australis, you will NOT be missed), but the bright side is Firefox is finally as fast as Google Chrome performance wise and has actually exceeded the WebExtensions capabilities of Google Chrome.

That's very odd, especially with the Assistant not appearing (it appears here). I'll alert the developers/team members to this thread.

In the meantime have you tried a clean Firefox profile (after backing everything up)?

Just a random thought, are you using any antivirus/antimalware software? If so, what? Also, what Windows are you running?

Also does the Assistant fail to appear on specific sites? If so what? Or does it straight up fail on all sites? If it's the latter, chances are the devs will need logs - at the very least you can open the browser's console and see if there's any errors there.

Assistant fails on all sites ( the little icon was still there when i was at the firefox 57.0 beta at one point it stopped working even tho i was in the beta after that saw the firefox 57.0 stable is out i thoght that will fix but still it isnt working )
