I'm not sure where to post this Forum related issue but this thread appears to be the most relevant...

Clicking on the English Announcements link at "https://forum.adguard.com/index.php" takes me to "https://forum.adguard.com/index.php?categories/announcements.52/" but none of the discussions are listed.

However, if I select the Sub-Forums dropdown menu under the Announcements link on https://forum.adguard.com/index.php and scroll down to Announcements it opens what appears to be the correct page at "https://forum.adguard.com/index.php?forums/announcements.53/".

As an aside, I appear to have gained a "Point" in the box on the Forum homepage that lists my Messages, Likes, Points.
I have no idea what the point was for or what I can do with it, if anything ;)

The thing is, there are 3 levels of categories. 1st level is 'English forums', then there is 2nd level ('Announcements' in this case), and a 3rd level, which just happens to be consisted of only one category, also called 'Announcements'. This is just an unfortunate naming. To somewhat mitigate the confusion we made all the sub-categories visible from the main page:

I think these are trophy points: https://xenforo.com/community/help/trophies

Please add an option to hide forums and posts from russian subforums
We did found a similar solution - all posts in Russian (if you have English selected) are moved to the bottom half of the screen. It should be impossible to click there other than with intention to do so.

You haven't added a theme to the forum dark or otherwise?
We did add dark forum theme (Flat awesome dark), but Krypton theme - we ultimately decided it was too bright and sharp and not many users would like to see it. Maybe we will return to it later, but for now there are 3 themes available.

Heh, you're right. That's a strange place for it to be, but nonetheless got it, thanks. :)

I would like to mark my own threads as resolved.

It keeps it nice and tidy, dont want to bug everytime and tell it's resolved and that it needs to be closed.

It currently allows you to edit your own messages as well as thread titles, but only within 3 days. Do you think this period should be bigger? I think 3 days is enough for more minor problems, and in cases of more major problems it is even helpful that admins will have to close threads themselves.

3 days is good. I was not aware of that. Will keep an eye for it now.

Thank You ADGUARD TEAM for the new Forums Engine :)

1. Of the old Adguard Forums (English) weren't we able to see in our profiles page, that of our Threads we were subscribed to? [a list]. I mean this is here in the new forums engine as well but, control seems to be less per each listing in individual settings offered for each thread.

2. I seem to remember a setting somewhere, were possible to show latest made post first of a subscribed Thread, I remembering having it set this way, as anything new that was added would be (on top) and the first thing I saw when I visited it. This was a really cool feature.
It made the thread easy assessable to new current content. Instead of going to a higher number page to see the latest posted content addition.

I could be wrong with some of this - as I have to admit I'm not much of a forum user, that was until I realized how much information one could learn, and have been trying to participate more in the forums I care about.

I wonder if #1 and #2 mentioned above, as well as this below, could be added to the new Adguard's forums?

#1 of a shown subscription list - maybe one could also be able to unsubscribe from email alerts or the whole thread - if they choose too. Instead of one set of generic setting for all threads and email alerts.

#2 an option in the new forums engine to list posts made of our followed thread (we're personally following) to be in a chronological order starting on page one and then the higher page numbers would be going back in time so to say.

Right now all I find is unwatch thread from it's threads location and a generic, All Watched Threads / Manage Watched Threads = Disable email notifications - Stop Watching Threads. Then some generic setting on our profile - setting - preferences - options.
If we had some settings in our profiles that had SETTINGS/PREFERENCES/OPTION that would drill down and fine tune this better per sub menus, than what's listed there already.

Offered Options (Today)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply...
and receive email notifications of replies
Use the rich text editor to create and edit messages
Use the Flash-based uploader to upload attachments
Show people's signatures with their messages
Show your online status
Show your current activity
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Options should have sub-categories menus and not be so generic, to allow for fine grained settings and tuning per sub-categories. (I wished-HOPING)

What is - "Use the Flash-based uploader to upload attachments" is this safe and how does it work where is it you see this option offered? (Attachments = images?)
What is - "Your News Feed", seems like the "People You Follow" would be of the same offering here.

Just thinking, if I was to wonder over to the Russian Adguard Forums, is there a translator option of the forums that could change the language for me to be able to understand it in my own language - either site wide or of a certain thread?
Same thought, if I was able to make a post there in the Russian Adguard forums in my own language and have it rendered/translated, then shown in Russian language to the members there. This would be way cool to offer us Adguarders...

Once one has edited a post and does an edit again (back to back) - it opens but, you can't do anything in the small window this second time, you have to choose "More Options" (I think it was called) where it opens the larger window then you can make changes again for a second time. Is this to work like this? or a bug?

Thanks,
Gass

This link leads to the list of forums you are subscribed to, and this one - to the list of threads. Both are accessible thorugh your profile page.

Not quite what you mean, but this shows all the latest messages across all threads: https://forum.adguard.com/index.php?find-new/70374/posts

Maybe we will implement some of the proposed features later. Right now we are very busy with some release and other tasks, but when we have some more time, I will reread all the requests from this thread to select most interesting onces.
