Dear Adguard Team and Forum Members

I hope this ends here and now - I know it has with myself, as I care not to be in a Flaming War no longer, for just trying to be helpful to the Adguard Forums, and then to with the fact to where I only posted for the benefit of two ruling members and having directed all my words to them only in the first place. Although I did it in a public forum, so I must expect whatever does come from it.

I do wish to be friends (or at least get along) with all Adguard Forums Members - I see it as being possible, as we do have a common interest we all share with ADGUARD.

An active spammer event is pretty annoying now. Back on the old board when there was a spammer doing a lot of posts, I could use the Spam-O-Matic feature which would a) remove all posts by the spammer and b) ban the user. Sadly on the new board, mods can't ban spam bots anymore - we can only remove their posts manually one-by-one and report the spam bots to the admins, so one of them can ban the spammer.

Yup, I just don't understand what's wrong with the XenForo antispam module.

I mean it is stated that when mod bans a user, IP is also banned. However, it just does not work that way. We have to manually block IP addresses one by one. That's ridiculous.

New Members (all members really) should only post in the appropriate language

MAYBE IT'S ADVISABLE TO HAVE A LIMIT ON DAILY POSTS COUNT for new members

We are still in search of a better solution. We've already tried a couple, but to no success (or with some collateral damage).

Regarding the text you posted below this - obviously, messages you reference are spam messages. No need to go that deep to determine that. If you see spam, just report it using forum built-in mechanism. Messages like quoted one do not add any useful information and will only distract attention from the important ones.

I didn't open it for a discussion and it was meant for the two ruling members I had addressed it too.

Well, this forum is public and everything you post here can be visible by all other members, and you should choose words and expressions accordingly. Read the forum rules when in doubt.

What gives you the right to do that? Wasting other peoples time to read essays to get a single point, if any.

Same warning to you, I can understand your indignation, but, again, no offensive words (or any other words that imply offence) should be used.

To put an end to this argument: the forum is public, everyone has a right to express his or her thoughts, as long as the form they are expressed in corresponds with forum rules and common sense. If anyone abuses this right to create multiple posts/threads when less posts/threads would suffice, it can be considered as spamming and reacted to accordingly.

@Alex White Click on the "More options" button, then type any text, highlight it and click on the "Text color" icon in the toolbar (a small circle divided in two halves).

Just don't overuse it Don't write your whole replies in colored text, use it only to highlight something etc.

Excuse me if I chose the wrong forum for this, yet it seemed the most appropriate.
Since I was the 1st in my family to comer across Adguard & what "the Team" (just so nobody is missed out" has done to basically give us a Neutral Internet again...WE as a family were all surprised as we ACTUALLY took notice of how much we either ignored or just were unaware of despite being right in front of our eyes! The vast amount we are inundateinundated with by THIS or THAT advertisement, social media outlets, utter trash...
Given how Adguard 2.11 is in now in Beta, take a moment to think about that. Specifically how long we have been living this way. THAT is or should be a thought for what is just now being brought forth!
If anything it has my family & I now actually making an effort while online to nbe sure that we are safe & making each other aware of what is hiding in plain sight as yet another ad/site/ban is added to the tally for that period of time. We may be online & yet we are still telling each other what we just found instead of being some zombie with a screen between us!
And it only took HOW long?!?

Hey,
In Safari, I can't see any icon of Spoiler/Code/Quote.

That's a bit silly as I couldn't find how to make my signature like yours, guys - Spoiler, my system, my filters, etc. It may be misleading to many new users. I just opened a thread and Moderator had to ask me what my filters are, I wrote them down it this thread and as I couldn't find an option to add it in the signature (maybe it's for some "more advanced/experienced form users"..?) I thought I will have to paste it in every thread.
