Hi Team,

Just updated to the beta build of MacOS 11 rendering Adguard useless.

The extensions are blocked, and even if you unblock them (which requires a restart) it reverts to a blocked status.

Any ETA on a fix?

Thanks,

Raf

Hello there!

We are already preparing an update that will fix the compatibility issue with the new OS.

It is desirable to select the Nightly update channel and wait a little bit :)

Thanks Michael, that's exactly what I did ... after I found an updated post on reddit ;)

Works like charm albeit page load times are definitely slower than expected.

I am wondering if there is a conflict between the adguard privacy tracker and the new built in safari tracking blocker.

Any thoughts?

Please, let us know when the nightly / beta / stable versions supports Big Sur.

I´ve tried the three of them and none are working.

Yes, it doesn't work because Apple made major changes to macOS in Big Sur in regards to kernel extensions which now need to be partially redone/rewritten, which the AG dev team is working on right now. It takes time to do this because it isn't an easy fix and it's pretty complicated.

Please have some patience.

NO WORKING at macOS 11. Support say the same!!!
Dude, you need to work on your English. "They are working on it" does not mean "Adguard is working on Big Sur". It means that the programmers of AdGuard are working on a solution. "It" being the fact that it does not work. Please, if you do not understand English, try not to be rude by yelling.
Apart from that: Big Sur is a beta version. If you want a working environment, do not install it. You should be very aware of the changes Apple did to the OS when you even consider installing Big Sur. So, the fact that AdGuard would not work was absolutely to be expected. Try Audio Hijack. Try Fan Control. All these programs use kernel extensions and do not work, because that is what Apple changed. BTW, officially Big Sur is still called Mac OS 10.16, so you might want to change your signature to reflect the facts more accurately.

Never have I seen a more passionate thread for Ad blocking software...
Patience is key, the dev team are doing everything they can right now, but they have no obligation to give us a working version for a non-public, unreleased, unfinalized operating system.
Take your time, get it right...

If you disable system integrity protection it should stop asking you to allow in security and privacy also might stop asking to restart after installation
