Dear users!

For a long time Adguard could help you only if you use Windows. Partially we solved this problem by releasing extensions for Chrome and Opera.

So far, the stand-alone version of Adguard for Mac is still in development.

But by now we would like to offer the users of Mac OS X to participate in an open beta testing of Adguard extension for Safari.

The latest version of extension is always available at this link:
http://chrome.adtidy.org/app.html?app=Adguard.safariextz

We are interested in any feedback you can give.
Problems, failures, whatever – please write us in this topic.

Great, thank you for testing it!

Have you tried comparing our extension with Adblock for Safari?
Interesting to know what you think.

I was using Adblock for Safari with Do Not Track Me, uninstalled both and using Adguard extension exclusively on Safari now. Will browse extensively and let you know if I find any bugs. On first glance its in the same league as Adblock for Safari and thats saying something because Adblock has been there for a long time.

Man, it sucks my Hackintosh recently decided to die (I'll replace it eventually) and that Apple doesn't release Safari for Windows anymore.

Hello,

I've recently installed your extension on Safari and Chrome running on a Retina Macbook. I've noticed an odd issue on certain websites, the navigation no longer works.

For example: http://www.dailysteals.com/#d/29957

Clicking on one of the header tabs (Daily steals, Heists, Ice Box) do nothing. I have to disable adguard on the website for it to work correctly.

The same issue appears on the following sites:

https://www.birchbox.com/
http://www.irise.com

on Birchbox, none of the navigation works. On iRise only the download link is broken (you have to make an account to get to the download page).

I'm not sure if you guys were aware of the issue.

Upon further review after beginning to type this up, the issue is related to the Spyware and tracking filter. Disabling it allows the websites to function correctly. This is also appears in Chrome on Windows 8.

Thank you for reporting it!

The problem is now fixed. Check filters updates in extension settings.

If you enabled the "Help us in Browsing security filters development", the program will periodically send anonymous security-related data:
1. URLs of visited websites that Adguard identifies as potentially untrustworthy.
2. Information on the nature of identified threats

Hi! We'd like to hear more information about what exactly websites does this problem occur on, what version of browser and extension do you use, and also it would be great if you post a screenshot (or at least description) of popping ads.

Excuse me, I don't quite understand what is the question here.

Safari is subject to extension API limitations, sadly. If it works in Chrome but not Safari you're probably encountering one of those which I'm not sure could be worked around or not. These extension API limitations, I believe, is the reason why integration mode with Adguard for Mac doesn't work. That's why it was recommended if you're using Safari you should consider using Adguard for Mac instead of the Safari extension if you're encountering issues like this as the main program isn't bound to those limitations.
