Ok will start out with another compliment ... kudos!!!!

I noticed that I was not getting notifications while adguard was active... disabled adguard and new and in some cases past notification (app updates and new installs) went through normally.

Looked to see if others noticed/questioned this issue and if I missed the thread I am sorry.

Using trial version beta installed earlier today.

    Thanks

    Hal

Edit; I believe I fixed the issue by switching to proxy.
But that brings up and additional question ... It appears that (according to the count) no additional ads have been blocked. Does this mean that the previous count was incorrect it was just counting the number of times that an app was communicating. I do not browse the web very often from my phone.

    Thanks in advance...
    Hal

Maybe blocking some tracking requests also has blocked these notifications?

Need some details on the issue.

    1. Do you use Google Play to install/update apps?
    2. Have you switched to proxy with manual or auto setup?

Some apps ignore Android proxy settings and this may be why the issue is fixed.

    Answers as requested...

    1. Yes I usually install/update via Google Play. However, sometimes I install applications via web connect using Firefox.
    2. Yes I switched to proxy via manual setup. Since the switch over I have not seen any ads, in places where I would expect within an app. The connection to a few apps seems to be a little slower (I use a wifi connect and usually have data off when I am home). When it fails to connect "try again" usually works.

I hope the above assists you.

    Thanks for all your efforts!!!!

    Hal

    Sorry

After switching it to proxy appears to to load all notification from all apps including Google Play.

Pryor to switching to proxy no notification from apps usually want.

Pryor to switching to proxy no notification from Google Play re: successful install of new apps ... the apps install however no notification.

I hope this is the info you wanted.

    Thanks

Could you also tell me what firmware do you use?
Is it standard samsung firmware or something special?
