What do you mean by "prolonged"?
Page never finish loading?
Which filters are enabled?
yes, looks like the last update fixed it.. english, social, experimental and spyware.

btw could you fix the disqus ads on that same page?

Here's an interesting one I've noticed for awhile now, but never made the connection until I disabled filtering (while the current beta issues are happening). http://linustechtips.com/main/ loads up slower with Adguard's filtering enabled with all web browsers versus Adguard's filtering disabled with all web browsers.

I'll investigate this further (when the beta works again without the service crashing) and a load timer extension to get more accurate numbers, we'll see if there's something there.

Do you mean disqus "Around The Web" block?
I am not sure we should do this, this does not look like ad.
yes, i mean that.. i think it is ad

this definition is from wikipedia
Code:
Advertising or advertizing in business is a form of marketing communication used to encourage, persuade, or manipulate an audience (viewers, readers or listeners; sometimes a specific group) to take or continue to take some action
some sites in there is using disqus to promote / persuade the reader to click it which take them to different website. so i think it is ad

well, you can always put it in useful ads

The problem is that in the same block disqus shows discussions from the same web site.
You can change this block content in disqus settings.

It's ok to block around the web content. But not "also on".

Will be testing this today! :D

EDIT: Interesting, loading up much faster now in all browsers. Must of already been fixed? Nice!

EDIT 2: Odd, the results are all over the place. Sometimes there's a slowdown, and sometimes there isn't. I'll be narrowing these tests down further by performing clean caches before each website load with filtering enabled and disabled.
