We have this feature in mind, but it is not our first priority.
There is a number of problems with filtering secure connections.
First is your privacy. It is not good when software can see the data transferred through secure connection.
So filtering https will be optional and it will be disabled by default.
Second is some technical problems. We can solve them, but we need time to make it properly.
Is it possible to add an "Add rule" option to the Adguard assistant ? currently the only way to manually add a rule is by using the "Select page element" option in the assistant, but in some cases the assistant cannot select the page element that you desire to remove an example are the "upgrade to remove ads" spaces leftover in grooveshark.com

1. grooveshark: it could be on some "complex" sites like grooveshark. We embed assistant into each web site, it is ok for 99%, but not for all.
2. "Add rule": what should assistant do when you click "Add rule"?
You can add rules to the user filter manually in "Settings" - "Ad Blocker". The problem is that you should be good at CSS and HTML to do this.

so my question is why doesn't the "Select page element" option work when confronted with such elements ? and can the same be made more sensitive in order to counter these stubborn elements ?

After selecting your desired blocking method, you would get the next dialog(element hiding in this case)
where one would be able to create a rule in an easier more visual way than using the current method in the user filters section. you would be able to preview changes when using the element hiding dialog and so determine whether your custom rule is working as you expect.

The problem is that grooveshark web page really consists of a number different pages composed together.
Assistant is working in context of one of these webpages, not all.
This is interesting, never thought about assistant in this way.

understood, though grooveshark in this case was an example of some sites where i have noticed the "Select page element" not being able to select some elements on the page. is there any way that the sensitivity of that particular option of the assistant can be increased ? so that even when presented with such complex cases as grooveshark the assistant will be up to the task(what i have in mind as a perfect implementation of the "Select page element" option would be something close to the "Inspect element" tool in opera from which no element can hide)

We have a plan of improving Adguard assistant and as I know this is possible to make it work normally with such complex websites.
But it is difficult to give an ETA on this particular feature.
Updated Adguard recently, i had created some user filters under the previous installation, after the update i was surprised to see that my user created filters were gone. i realize that there is an option to export them but would it be possible to preserve them when updating or at the very least offer an option to automatically export them when Adguard is updating ?
Update from 5.2 to 5.3 version should have preserved your user filters. What version of Adguard has you before updating?
From the other side -- users often need to know the license key. What should they do if email with license is missing?
How other software vendors solve this problem? Do you have any examples of such functions?

Yeah, I know, but imagine this - you have a library with 20 pcs and they are being used by 500 random users every day. What's the possibility that some users will steal serial number? Pretty high, right? So it would be good if you could password-protect License tab if you want.

Every buyer gets a private cabinet on our site where he can manage his licenses (see the list of activated devices, detach the license from the computer, etc).
So event if serial number has been stolen - you could detach it from the bad guy's computer
