really like the log function of Adguard however it is frustrating to have to manually scroll downwards in order to view the most recent logs. would it be possible to implement an autoscroll feature in that section ? and to allow flexibility autoscroll could be toggled on or off if so desired.
still on the log section, when a log is clicked for further info and it expands it would be nice to be able to collapse the log info by clicking it again rather than having a particular log always expanded.

I was thinking about sorting log messages in descending order (newest first). Is it ok or not?

And you're absolutely right about collapsing.

re-direction links(adf.ly and the like) are a pain. i have seen userscripts for greasemonkey that allow a user to skip the redirection page and go directly to the masked webpage. could Adguard include the skipping of such pages in its features as blocking the ads on these pages is only half of the battle won.

Hi!

This is interesting! I think we can do this just using our filters (this will be rather ugly but working).

Can you give a link to such user-script?

This is doable, but we'll do it for version 5.6 only (too complex for 5.5 version).

Issue #1774 has been created. We will try to do it next week.

Hm, you already have this option.
not in assistant.. we must copy paste link to adguard main screen if i'm not mistaken. how about make it in assistant and automatically fetch broken page ? i think this feature is quite good, like the adblock plus has

You can send a complaint right from the assistant in version 5.6.

I would love to have the usage statistics be saved in a sperate file and be exportable in case of uninstall/reinstall one can import the file and contine with old usage statistics.

I would like to see a feature to password protect the program from tampering, changing of settings and against closing of the program. It is really important in a shared computer and especially with kids messing things around.

This feature is in development right now.

Not only the password protection. We plan to add content-filtering, white-lists and black-lists.

like where Adguard is going based on the above planned features. just noticed that on first run after a new installation two important(in my view) filters are disabled; experimental and social widgets filters. activating the two requires going into the filter lists and unlike the rest of the filters there, they cannot be turned on automatically based on page content. my suggestion is, could there be a wizard interface to setup these two filters for use ? so that on first run Adguard would ask me whether i would like to have social widgets blocked and if i'd like to have experimetal filters enabled.

And this feature is in development right now too:)

Adguard will ask you some questions (about social widgets, spyware and ssl filtration) on the first run.
