Proposals for the development

Will there be a list of elements on a page that shows which ones are blocked, in exception or not affected?
On that page we can click each element and define rules, like AdBlock's one.

I'm using Adguard extension for Opera.

Do you have any plans to translate AdGuard GUI on more languages? I think I could translate it to Polish.

I very often see cookies banners ("This site use cookies bla bla bla..."). They are not necessary imho. Could you be able to remove them?

The cookie banners thing is annoying, yes. Perhaps it's something for the Spyware filter?

Cookie warnings ive been adding to user filters along with many missed social widgets, as said they are quite annoying as for where would they go, not sure i would of thought with the normal filters tbh or do what fanboy has done and add them to the social lists.

I would like to see the option of blocking favicons in browsers in the settings pane or perhaps included in the experimental filter.

Here's an idea; user filter cleaning options so we can tidy up our user filters of filter rules that aren't needed anymore. I'm thinking Adguard can keep track when a filter was last activated and the most time passed rules could be cleaned out as they may not be needed anymore.

Thoughts?

Already asked for in the link above this post. Your suggestion is slightly different though...

Ability to check for duplicate filters.

At the moment if a user adds a filter to their user list and at a later date its added to the default filters there is no way to tell, what im thinking is for a way that the user can do some sort of check against the default filters for filter matches so if i add a filter and it looks similar to a default filter it will say something and show the two filters side by side

Example:
User filter: google.co.uk##._Vb,.c
Default filter: ##._Vb,.c

It sees they are both similar and tells the user that it can be deleted their user list fi they want to delete it.

Thanks for this Boo Berry, I was thinking along the same lines for a long time just forgot to mention it :p. If the user filters can be cleaned automatically after an update that would ideal.

The problem is that checking CSS rules hits could significantly slow down Adguard's work.

Ability to check for duplicate filters.
This is doable, we could mark duplicate rules somehow.
I'll think about it.

From the roadmap for v6:
We also plan to optimize the code of version 6.0 and rewrite some of existing modules.
Is it possible to move and perform some tasks (if more then better) on second cpu core?
