Strange, I just successfully installed it, so something is obviously wrong with your configuration/internet connection/etc. - make sure you're using the latest version of Adguard for Windows v6.1.331.1732. You might have to enable logging (debug level), reproduce this issue, and post the logs for the devs to take a look. I'm sure @vasily_bagirov will want to create a bug report on Github about this as well.

Are you using any antivirus/antimalware software? Are you using the WFP driver? Stealth Mode enabled? If so, what options?

Also it's recommended to enable Anti-Adblock Killer filter in Adguard.
As I understand they complement each other.
where can I find the userscript for this, please? thanks if there's another one to add, please supply full link otherwise, never mind :) I found the link to the anti-adblock killer

@lori67k Anti-Adblock Killer is a dead filter and userscript. It's highly recommended not to use the Anti-Adblock Killer filter/userscript, as it hasn't been updated in years. Using it can and likely will break websites.

If you're using AdGuard and encountering anti-adblock scripts and messages, it's recommended to a) enable and use the AdGuard Base and the AdGuard Annoyances filter and b) if you still encounter those, report them by clicking on the Assistant and selecting Report this website or reporting it directly here: https://reports.adguard.com/new_issue.html

Thanks Boo :) i did actually install the anti-adblocker script and was able to subscribe (I am using chrome) but I don't know for sure if it is working(?) are you saying that it would be best to remove that script?

Are there any other anti-adblocker detection scripts I can use?

I haven't received any warnings from pch in a long while, I've been using the extension (along with adguard) bypass adblock detection for awhile since the first warning came up a few months ago, but unsure if it actually works

If you know of any working adblock detection bypass scripts I am grateful to have them

you're my Boo (my bad, I couldn't resist) anyway... thanks bunches

Yes, it's best to remove that script. It hasn't been updated in years.

Like I said above, the best course of action is to enable and use the AdGuard Annoyances and AdGuard Base filters, as they contain filter rules for anti-adblock scripts. Also if you encounter sites using scripts that aren't blocked you can easily report them for the filter developers to take a look. :)

thank you... i don't have the PLUS option. what filters i do have in the windows app module are: user, adguard base, russian and germain filters listed there, no plus though. I have adguard premium 2019 if that helps

Yep, the + button (the one on the far bottom left). It'll give you a list of filter subscriptions to choose from. :p

Good luck. :)
