I raised this up a month ago. @vasily_bagirov said that he discussed it with the team and they didn't find this critical at the moment.
So far I know lanik has disabled all links on the website. So people have to select the text and open in new tab or copy the url and paste in the browser. That is good but not user friendly for the users/moderators. And like @fanboy mentioned the BUG, it's not reliable right now.
Something about sending links through a third-partys is unsettling for privacy reasons
Given that it just takes one person to click on it, then the website in question is aware they're been targeted. Time is money, and if adguard forums can use text links it'll avoid any potential website countering.
Not fixed I'm guessing? still no "no-referrer" set on links.
Test: <a href="https://www.whatismyreferer.com/" target="_blank" class="externalLink" rel="nofollow">https://www.whatismyreferer.com/</a><br>
Came back under both Firefox and Chrome:<br>
