In theReddit forum there is a post about an Adguard VPN extension. Some have questioned if it is a legit extension. The address is adguard-vpn dot com.
Any thoughts? Adguard website makes no mention of such an extension.
It's legit/real, but it's a very early proof-of-concept used to test the idea/servers/traffic usage/etc. and it's only available as a Chrome extension right now. It may be months before anything officially is released or even officially announced. Probably best to wait until it's ready before announcing it, but they are actively working on this. There's no idea on what pricing may be or any of those details, but it's been said the VPN very likely won't be included with lifetime licenses of AG products, for example... as it's kinda a bad idea to include due to the server/traffic costs of running a VPN and whatnot. The VPN will likely be a separate product with its own website (which it has now).
P.S. If you guys want all the latest AG news and new product teases and whatnot before it's officially announced, you should hang out in the AG Telegram chat, as @avatar has been giving us screenshots and teases on the new VPN service as it's being built for a couple months now (plus 'announced' it was available as a Chrome extension for testing purposes a month ago). A couple of us are still bugging them about AG for Linux.
