When it is red in the network view, either the DNS is not resolvable or blocked. In this case it is blocked by Spyware filter if I remember correctly. I will try to check the site later when I'm at home.

You are right, it was indeed blocked by Spyware filter so I guess it's not related to the loading sequence. There are also some base64 .png's loading with a dinosaur with a "Game Over" text.
Haha nice of them.

Thank you for checking this out!

Part of Google Analystics it seems:
Code:
||geektime.co.il/wp-content/themes/geektime/js/ga.js
Blocking a widget (the loaded widget from there is already blocked by English filter):
Code:
||cloudfront.net/*widget^$domain=geektime.co.il
Following rule is triggering here (when I have disabled it, I still don't see the ads):
Code:
Fanboy's Enhanced Tracking List:
@@||securepubads.g.doubleclick.net/gampad/ads$domain=geektime.co.il
Ads were not displayed here, but ad left-overs:
Code:
geektime.co.il##.banner
Following rule should hide the ad in the left sidebar (was already hidden for me):
Code:
geektime.co.il##.sponsors-widget
If the following url is unblocked for you, try this rule:
Code:
||tpc.googlesyndication.com^

Hi Blaz,

Thanks for you reply!
I tried the rules you've posted but the ads are still displayed.
Are you waiting for the page to fully load? Because the ads load at the very last minute of the loading sequence.
Thanks again,

On my Extension build I could reproduce the issue, please try this rule:
Code:
geektime.co.il#%#Object.defineProperty(window, '_0X3ef2', { get: function() { return function(){}; } });

This one works!!! Thank you very much Blaz! :)
I have just 2 questions:
1. Does the extension uses different mechanism than the App for Windows/Mac?
2. Will these new rules be incorporated in a future filter list?

Thanks again,

App for Windows/Mac support additional rule syntax. We have to wait for a filter dev.

Added to English filter:
Code:
/wp-content/embeded-adtional-content/*$empty,important
pocketnow.com,geektime.co.il#%#Object.defineProperty(window,"cxAsyncLoad",{set:function(){throw Error();}});
Please, check the result.

The first rule will work only on AG browser extensions 2.6 version above. In the meantime, the second rule should break their inline script that loads ads.
1. Does the extension uses different mechanism than the App for Windows/Mac?
2. Will these new rules be incorporated in a future filter list?
1. Browser extensions use functionalities provided by browser vendors to block or hide ads. App for Windows/Mac uses functionalities provided by OS.
2. Rules above are now incorporated in English filter.
