[Resolved] Speedtest.net in Edge

Just upgraded to Adguard 6 and rebooted after enabling the WFP driver again.

Thought I'd test out filtering in Edge and it... well, sort-of works, but sort-of doesn't.

See here.

The banner ads are gone but still that big one over the top. Weird...

Version 6.0.204.1025 (on Windows 10 obviously)
English + about 6 other language filters.

Please right click on that banner and select "Inspect Element" and post a screenshot of this new window part.
My Windows 10 doesn't have Edge due to being LTSB and therefore can't check otherwise.

Had to delete my virtual machine due to not enough free space.

Please try this rule:
Code:
speedtest.net##.dfp-ab-leaderboard
If that still doesn't work, please move the inspect window a bit up, so we see the iframe part.

EDIT: You can also download Teamviewer and PM me with ID and password.

Please try this rule:
Code:
speedtest.net#%#AG_onLoad(function() {document.getElementsByClassName('dfp-ab-leaderboard')[0].remove();});
If still doesn't work, please download Teamviewer and send me ID and password via PM.

That works, thanks.

Can you put that into the global filter so it works for everyone? :p
Which filters are you using?

This ad is locked on my end, in Edge on VM.

Which country you are located in? Probably the ad only gets served for specific countries.

Speedtest ads are different for US, so I guess we should use a VPN to take a look at it.

Plus Edge itself is a different beast (and a PITA). I can confirm this, BTW and I was able to block part of it, but not the top banner ad.

Boo, did you try the following code?
Code:
speedtest.net#%#AG_onLoad(function() { setTimeout(function() { document.getElementsByClassName('lowerboard body-ad-tower-stack body-alt-content')[0].className = 'lowerboard'; }, 3000); });

Yep, tried it. There's still a PIA (Private Internet Access) banner ad above the Flash widget used for testing.

And if you try the following rules?
Code:
speedtest.net##div[id^="ad-"]
speedtest.net##div[class^="ad-"]
Sadly even with US IP I don't see it.

I've seen it once through the TV.

@Boo, can we arrange a remote access session (I'll be back at work on wednesday) so I can take a closer look at it?
