I have not found a way to block video ads without blocking the video itself.

The only thing I've managed to do is fixing "disable ad blocker" message.

Oh that's a bummer.
And by the way it's not working... When I click to play a video the page is refreshed. So I click again the page is refreshed again and the video never start. :-(

So if I got it right, we should add these filters:
Code:
canalplus.fr#@##AdAreaH
canalplus.fr#@##AdArea
Could you please check it? Hola's French proxy does not work for me so I don't see ads at all now.

Also I don't understand how these filters may change the situation with video ads.
These ads are managed inside the flash player and these filters have nothing to do with it.

basically they said that in the wait of a new better solution for everyone the enduser can manually remove the ads with those filters...

i just tested it and it works!

Great! I can add these to transformed version of Liste FR from our site.

One question though - why don't they add them to original Liste FR?

If done correctly, it is not breaking the player. But Adguard doesn't have the feature to block the video ad yet.
AdGuard can block video ads on many sites, but for some sites blocking causes problems.

Please check ticket #PTB-526-34428
There I raised a feature request which can remove the video ads which are using damoh. It is not a protocol, but a synonym for those video ads which sent requests to a "damoh" server.
On some sites it is enough to switch to HTML5 version of the site in order to get rid of the video ads, but not on all.

When you log the URLs the with e. g. Media Sniffer you will notice in the url the word "damoh". The request goes initially to that site, that site fetches the ad video and the initial video and plays the initial video after the ad video. So when the "damoh" site is blocked, the initial video doesn't get shown.

Hi @blaz, thank you, got it.

Could you also give me examples of these rules you used in Ad Muncher to block golem.de ads?

I sent you a PM with the phrase. Please note AdMuncher can't handle https and IE 11.
Please don't post them here in public, thank you.
