Selectable elements cannot be hidden on some websites

found an interesting occurrence with the "Select Page element" option in the assistant and elements one has selected to hide not being hidden.

the selected region cannot be hidden even after adding a rule using the "Select page element" option to hide it.

I see, seems to be assistant's bug, added bug #947.

Assistant changes are planned on 5.5 version. Our developers are focused on https-filtering now.
It became critical since google has begun to work through https in google chrome.

wow, thats excellent news, i have noticed that google text adverts are getting a bit too much maybe that is the reason they use https in addition to the obvious security reasons.

using the latest beta it seems that the problem on huffingtonpost is still there.
