Sorry to hear... It worked for me, not 100%, more like 80. If I shut adguard off everything worked fine but if I kept it on and used my mobile network instead of wifi it actually worked fine. It's weird.

I have 3 lifetime mobile licenses and 1 desktop so I'm sticking with it.
There was an update yesterday but it didn't seem to fix the issue.
Again when I shut DNS filtering off it works fine. I tried all DNS filtering methods and multiple provider's

I see, because I currently use Google's DNS filters configured via Windows:
So would it make sense to use the Adguard Desktop implementation of it once its added?

Like he said it doesn't but you can set your DNS manually in your router settings (or Windows, but the router will let every device use the server). Usually it's good to do because google, cloudflare and adguard have faster DNS servers than isp's. When I switched to cloudflare it was twice as fast on dns actions compared to Comcast.
I have used regular Adguard for windows with gigabit fiber to house service for a few years. I've seen it lower actual speed tests in the past but overall its OK. I just ran one and its 945 up and 965 down. I have to pick the right server though, most won't show the correct speed. So it does work with gigabit but like I said, I've seen it slow the speed tests down somewhat on computers. But in normal usage I rather have the ad's blocked and you aren't using anywhere near that speed anyway. That only helps on the few sites that allow download speeds that high. Just exit adguard completely and the speed is back to normal, if its affecting your computer. Then turn it back on. I have it on 4 computers and all are currently doing fine though with the speed tests. It also appears the Ookla app for the desktop shows more accurate then their website but usually not a huge difference. I've also tested it on some ftp sites which has some of the most capable fast downloads.

Hey Ram1220. I had the same issue on another computer. Try disabling the WFP option.
I tried disabling WFP and my speeds went to 960/220. Disable Adguard and they are back at 960/945. So I will keep Adgaurd disabled. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Recently i purchased an AdGuard Family license and i have bad experience with AdGuard (v7.4.2) limiting internet speed (besides other problems: filtering log not working, lack of parental control, in Android version) to quarter that provided by my ISP? (two computers, different network cards: Intel I218-V and Atheros AR8161, both gigabit)
-ISP speed: 1000Mbps
-Speed with Traffic filtering + WFP driver: 400Mbps
-If I add how much is lost through VPN at work (because I work from home) I get to 200Mpbs with drops.
The only thing I could do to stop the low bandwidth was to uncheck "Traffic Filtering" + "Use WFP network driver", but ticking "Use AdGuard as an HTTP proxy" works fine.
I didn't think there would be problems like this, I thought it was software that had reached a certain maturity, not to behave like a BETA product ... I hope it will be solved in the end without having to resort to tricks to have a functional product because I'm honestly starting to feel sorry that i bought it.

Every computer is different. The original computer I had when I made this thread, had to have a few options changed or disabled due to certain hardware that is out of AdGuards control.
If you have any networking software, or any programs that may interfere with AdGuard, try disabling them.

I also have a gigabit connection (and wifi6 router) and I usually see an average of 700Mbps with adguard enabled on WiFi, 600 average when connected to Nord VPN and 920Mbps via Ethernet with adgaurd enabled and https DNS via my router. (6 core i7 5820k @ 4.4gh, 32 gigs ddr4)
It depends on the PC, how fast it is, how many filters you are using, DNS choice and more. There are allot of variables. Also make sure you don't have extensions in your browser filtering traffic on top of adguard.
It also doesn't help that you're losing bandwidth through a VPN as well.
What are your system specs? CPU speed, cores, system memory etc?
If there's an answer you will get it here. They have helped me with the Android and Windows version countless times.
I also find it weird that the previous person would ditch adguard over a loss of 20mbps (when it's well over 900Mbps on and off). I understand yours is a larger loss but there has to be a reason for it since I know multiple people on gigabit connections that use adguard and see nearly no loss in connection speed.
Also don't fear sending your logs...another odd thing about the previous user. It doesn't contain your banking info lol or anything else that could hurt you in any way.

No definitely don't just hand the logs out to anyone except for staff. Not because there is some big danger but because it's nobody's business except you and the devs.
The adguard team can speak to this better than I can but the i5 3210m is a very old and pretty slow CPU especially for win10 2004, and since it's a laptop it might not even be fully compatible with the latest build of Win10..
The i7 4790 should be fine especially with 32 gigs of memory even though it's only ddr3 but again it also might struggle with the latest version of Windows as far as full compatibility goes. I was having an issue with Win 10 1807 (I think) and Microsoft told me my motherboard wasn't officially supported and it was a Gigabyte x99-UD4 rev1.0
The devs will have to speak to this one but it's possible there is a conflict that only happens when Kaspersky, your VPN and adguard are all going at the same time.
Also for speed tests you should use fast.com, it's far more reliable and less sensitive than ookla.
I do have one question and that is are you basing all your speed ratings off the test or have you tried something that uses a real world scenario like downloading a large file or timed how long it takes to open a webpage?

I know that my laptop is old and having a Atheros ethernet adapter is more slowly but with him i have 600-700 download speed.

I am the previous poster that you referred to. It was much more than a 20mbps loss that I was experiencing with Adguard running. I was only seeing about 200mbps with Adguard. Maximum 300mbps. With Adguard disabled I see 940 to 960mbps. Please get your facts straight.
Last month I built a new computer. AMD Ryzen 3800x with a Gigabyte x570 Aorus Elite MB and 32GB of Corsair DDR4 memory. Using Windows 10 1909. I also purchased a new TP-Link AC4000 router. My new MB has an Intel Gigabit NIC card. I am still seeing 200 to 300mbps with Adguard enabled. With Adguard disabled I once again see 940 to 960mbps.
There is a problem with Adguard and others are seeing it too. Just because you don't have an issue doesn't mean it doesn't exist. And no I will not send personal information to anyone. I would rather stop using the program until Adguard fixes it.
