Does Adguard have support (or will it support) Google's SPDY protocol being used by Google Chrome, Firefox and Opera 12.50+? Just wondering. :)

Not yet. There's no web sites that support it now.
Even google still uses good old HTTP protocol.

Twitter's already using it, with Facebook and Wordpress already announcing they will soon too. Google's already using it for their pages.

Then we disable it. We use standard Microsoft .NET way for working with HTTP. So we cannot use SPDY until .NET supports it.

Unfortunately I believe the chances of Microsoft supporting SPDY is slim to none, same with IE ever supporting it. :p

From the other side - SPDY is rather small enhancement of HTTP. If you have a wide channel (at least 1 Mbit) you will see no difference.

And I was wrong, ha. Microsoft supports SPDY in IE11 so SPDY code/support in .NET shouldn't be too far behind. :D

    Haha:)
And we are no longer using standard .NET HTTP implementation (starting from version Adguard 5.7).

We'll look into SPDY support, but for now priority is minor.

    Nice!

And if SPDY wasn't enough, Google's working on QUIC now too.
