Looks like twitch.tv has implemented an new ad system which seems that almost all ad blockers no longer work.
Just curious is anyone else experienced this issue as well.
I recently just noticed it, in which an ad about McDonalds will start at the beginning of the stream.

Noticed the new McDonald's ad as well. Happened when you went to a channel and also if they were taking a break and running ads. Streamer I was watching took a break and I just got the McDonald's ad like 4 times in a row. This new ad started for me I think yesterday. Was fine before then.

It's not only the McDonald's ad, it depends where you live. For example I only received Prime Video ads for now.

By activating the experimental filter this blocks the ads only you end up with a black load for a long time.

Experimental filter doesn't work as it should tho. It blocks the ads yes, but when it blocks them, the stream freeezes for 30 secs (ads time) or so. Useless.

Started getting video ads on another site I frequent (fandom.com) that were never there before. Seems like they are starting to find ways around AdGuard. It's a never ending battle I guess between the websites and adblockers.

It happens man. Last year there was a problem like that fixed in about a week. For example now Twitch seems to load without ads, finally.

Did you activate "Experimental Filter"?
I'm looking around but cannot find 'experimental filter'. Where in Adguard Premium for Windows do you enable 'experimental filter', or are you referring to the AdGuard Assistant, or AdGuard AdBlocker?

Also, is it confirmed that 'experimental filter' truly blocks the new ad campaign from Twitch?

For reference, I also found this link regarding the uBlock Origin settings for disabling ads on Twitch:

AG's Settings > Ad Blocker > Scroll down to the green + Add a filter and click it > in the Filter Subscriptions list either scroll down to the AdGuard Experimental filter or search for it and check it and hit the green Add selected button.

Found it! Many thanks!

Blaz added a filter for Twitch in the Base filter. Check for filter updates, and you might need to clear your browser's cache.
