Well my computer is running fine, I can install other software no problem, and I can access/edit other registry keys without issue.

    So I think it's fine. :)

    I fixed it

    Ambo.gif

Installed the free home version of Registrar Registry Manager 7.75
    http://www.resplendence.com/downloads

Searched for and deleted all instances of 3BA6F58616C71D24EAB583464ED80153

    Installed Adguard :)

Great! It seems that Windows Installer registry keys were messed up, hard to say why.

I had the same problem. Locked registry key and had no permissions.
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Components\8814E772548C9924FABEA8088C76BA46

I've used Process Hacker -> "Run as" and configured like on this image

Finally I was able to gain access to the registry key, delete it and update Adguard to the latest version.

Dunno, probably just broken, no permissions, but it was not the first time this happened for me. Yesterday I uninstalled Adguard and later deleted all leftovers using manual installation. When rebooted I installed cmoss verions using 'offline' installer. Today Adguard updater was unable to update to 5.10.2025 due to an access error to the key I posted
