[v2.8.58] High-quality filtering not working

    Hi everyone!

    Sorry to say that this issue still occurs for me. I'm on Samsung S7 Edge (Android 7.0) using both the Samsung browser and lastest Firefox. Happens most often on www.dn.se and www.sydsvenskan.se.

    Sometimes it looks perfect and bot the ads and the "white/grey" space is gone.

    Running the latest updated filters on my phone:
    English, social media, annoyances,mobile ads, simplified dns and Fanboy's swedish.

    Have you tried using the latest beta release? It has fixes for Android 7.0.

    Yes, it doesn't work in the very latest beta. Same issue on the very same page

    @Xophile sorry for taking so long to reply.

    Can you please try disabling filters one by one to see what filter causes this behavior (if any)?

    HI!

    No problem!

    I tried disabling each and every one but could not really find a 100% fix. The social media filter seemed to give me the problem more often if enabled. The problem with many of the sites I reported is that when I do a Reload the ad changes at the same time.

    This is really going on my nerves. I would really like to find the cause of this.

    Anothing else I can send you or test? Logs etc?

    @Xophile sadly, this didn't help much. There are two realistic ways to fix issues like it:

    1) We are able to reproduce it on our side;
    2) We arrange a remote control session with one of our filter developers.

    This case does not fall under 1st category, so we'll need to find a way to go the way #2 if you are fine with it. I'll ask @Alex302 and @sean about this.
