I got the same error as in this post, but on a Mac. How should I handle it because the instructions on Win are not available on Mac at all.

Hi! To troubleshoot this issue we'd like to ask you for some more info. Could you please collect debug logs for us? You can send them via direct messages, so that they don't appear on public. Please follow this instruction to collect them:
  1. In AdGuard head to Settings (Gear icon) → AdvancedLogging levelDebug
  2. Reproduce the issue and remember the time when it happened
  3. Head back to AdvancedExport logs and System info
  4. Save an archive, send it to us and tell the time the problem happened
  5. Set the logging level back to Default
