Websites detecting adguard

Ive started seeing a new pain in the *** on the web and it's sites detecting adblocking and then refreshing until they don't.

I'm sure everyone is working on beating whatever the new methods of detection are so if you want an example of a site I just couldn't visit I've attached a screenshot and the main URL is visible.

Are we quickly going to end up in a situation where adblocking isn't even possible?

Hello, dear @d0x

We have an annoyances filter that helps get rid of the blocker detection.
If, after turning on this filter and clearing the browser cache, you still get this notification.
It is advisable to send a complaint to the filter developers and they will fix this problem.
AdGuard settings > Support > Send feedback > Missed Ads.

Yeah, I'm using it and I will report that site. My question was more about the neverending back and forth.

I did manage to bypass that sites detection just by stopping the page load when it was essentially 100% complete and all that was left was whatever method they used for detection which is an oddly reliable way around it lol.

I guess the TL;DR of that would be that I want to learn more about the process, what would be a good resource to do such a thing

I hope - no)

Please report the sites with any issues using AdGuard(feedback in menu) and we will fix them.

Indeed, you all do an amazing job. I've bought 4 lifetime licenses myself and I've also gotten quite a large number of people to do so also.

What I'm interested in is how to be more involved or.. learn how this all works. I wish it was open source, not so I could steal your code but to use it to learn more about ad blocking but also how to make a Android app that hooks into networking.

Basically just curious. I used to program myself but it's been like 20 years so I've forgotten pretty much everything I knew.
