What's the limit of rules for system wide adblocking?

I get that the Safari limit is 50000.

But for the system wide AdBlocking I use the abp.oisd.nl list and a whitelist I am maintaining, I have more than 500 000 rules in DNS protection, what's the limit?

I already asked this question on this forum, on Github and to the support but I never got any answer.

I used to have a warning message saying the number of rules was too hight but since the latest releases, this message diseppeared, see screen shot below.

However I am still interested to get a response to that question.

Looks like Apple has increased the limit to 150,000 per content blocker. Not sure if AG for iOS and AG for Safari have been updated to reflect those increased limits yet or not.

You are misunderstanding Safari limit and DNS limit which are not the same.

I just did some new tests.

535K is OK
573K is KO

So maybe 550K is the right number.
