It is recommended to uncheck this option.

Maybe it is not a good thing to keep WOT within AdG preferences...

Mozilla decided to pull the Web of Trust add-on from its catalog, and the company behind the extension quickly pulled its software off of other browser platforms as well.

Yeah, old news from a year ago. AG's WOT extension is disabled by default (and can be removed from AG for Windows). From what I recall no information is shared with WOT and AG only uses the WOT ratings data.

Personally, I don't use WOT but I'm sure some people do.

It is available, but it's disabled by default because of this story. There're some people who still want to use it, that's why we don't remove it.

What's interesting, AdGuard's WOT extension is the only way to use their data without sharing any information with them.

Old news, come on not even a month LOL

Anyway, I was not aware of it, I just found out today because my VPN provider is blocking them because to this issue.
