Would Adguard DNS on android block ads in apps?

Hi there,

Someone suggested that I use Adguard DNS instead of the app on my Android Pixel 6. I'm wondering if that would still block ads in apps and also how I would handle missed ads when using the DNS option?

DNS can only block domains, it can't do any sort of cosmetic filtering on webpages, for example.

if you register DNS, there is no advertising

That's not always the case. There's a good number of situations where DNS can't remove ads, YouTube and Twitch for example.
