Mobile Yahoo for example has some, all browsers.
Checked it but don't see ads there. Could you show a screenshot?
Don't see ads too.
Whoops, not sure how I missed this one. Yes, you can see two different ads in this screenshot - one banner ad and sponsored news posts. The banner ad is random, it doesn't always appear but there's always sponsored ad stories. Just using the English, Spyware and Mobile Ad filters. I'm assuming because it's a HTTPS site filtering *may* not work.
Can you try enable Russian and check again?(with killing process and alear cache)
I still see both, hmmm. I'll keep messing with it and see if anything can be done (e.g. I can create a custom rule for it and try it in the user filter). Otherwise, it's not a big deal to me, I rarely use Yahoo anymore.
I don't see the news in mobile Yahoo. Can you make step-by-step instruction?(with screenshots)
It's probably a US thing, I just go to https://www.yahoo.com/ and that's what it displays in mobile Chrome and Firefox.
Yes, with US IP I see ads.
Please, try this:
I still see them, but those rules are probably worth adding. I'm guessing this may be a HTTPS limitation.
You're right, won't work with HTTPS version of yahoo.com.
@Alex302, which domains do they use to load these ads?
Maybe we can block whole domain and fix this.
